The Elite Educated Experts, the Wisdom of Crowds and the Economy – The Collective v. The Free Market
The United States has spent trillions of dollars attempting to rebuild the economy. These are the people who made the decisions that have failed. Exactly, why do we think the educated elite experts, actually, understand and can manage something as intricately complex as the US economy with all its moving parts moving so fast so anonymously? Who is to say that the Wisdom of Crowds is not superior and who can say it will do worse? Trusting the wisdom of the crowds is, however, empowering individual choice and autonomy over the collectivism of centralized banking system concentrating finances in a few unelected.
